NoBS Member/Photo of the Month: Tamra Hinman
I have always had a certain level of interest in photography, but it intensified after my three children came along. I found NoBS about 5 years ago through a scrapbooking message board and after seeing the amazing images that people were sharing I decided that I needed a "real" camera. When my camera arrived, I realized very quickly that I knew nothing about photography and needed to learn how to use it! I set the dial to "M" and set to work.
Two and a half years ago I started Moments... Photography by Tamra, a studio in my home near Salt Lake City, Utah. I do both studio and on-location sessions in the surrounding areas. I am a Canon girl and love my 5Dii as well as my Alien Bees for outdoors off camera flash.
About the Photo of the Month
This image was part of a high school senior session. She is a dancer and wanted to do some fun pictures to showcase that. After doing some studio work I grabbed some material that I had laying around and we headed out to the backyard to the trampoline. I envisioned an image that looked like she could fly and was thrilled with the final result!
