NoBS Member/Photo of the Month: Warne Noyce

January's winning Photo of the Month and Member of the Month honors go to Warne Noyce! Congratulations! Here in his own words is the story behind his winning image as well as an update on his recent seminar in Texas.
"Hey thanks everyone!
This was an image from a session with 6 crazy grads! We spent a few hours one evening up at one of our local lakes. The girls were so excited to be able to jump in the water with their grad gowns on. By the time we were finished there was approx 30 people on the shore watching. This was shot with OCF. The waves are real. I just dodged and burned them to bring them out a bit more.
It has been a crazy few months in my world. I just finished hosting my first workshop in Boerne (just north of San Antonio). Jason and the Texas crew sure helped make that experience incredible. Nicole had just had some health issues and could not make the trip down. I was extremely nervous the first day. By that evening, my nerves started to calm down and slowly I was able to find a bit of a groove. By Sunday night I was in the groove! The next morning I had the honour of photographing Tyson Zahner and his lovely wife.
Put Martin Luther King day weekend on your calendar for next year. We have already confirmed the 2nd annual "Southern Light Workshop" It will be bigger and better than this year's event. We are working on some more incredible sponsors. It will be hosted at the Ye Kendal Inn.
This year will be crazy: 15 weddings, over 100 seniors, 2 dance schools, numerous playschools, and a huge number of family portraits.
Thanks again to everyone on NOBS! You guys rock! The inspiration here is immense!
Take care
Warne"
